Micturition Syncope

syncopeHave you ever experienced it or you know somebody that ever had such?

You get up from sleep in the day or night,seriously pressed and uncomfortable due to the feeling as if your bladder is going to burst in a few seconds if you didn’t empty its contents.

You dash off to the toilet and begin to empty your bladder,then suddenly you black out and the only thing you could remember afterwards was when you started to urinate.Every other thing that happened was a mystery.You might wake up to see yourself in a pool of urine (if you are doing it along a pathway–in the villages),or you might get yourself injured by falling on some hard or jagged surface.

I wish to write this for enlightenment on what actually happens and why and also what you can do about it.

SYNCOPE is the medical term for “fainting’ and MICTURITION simply means “urination’ or “urinating’ so you can see how the name was coined.

Micturition (or post-micturition) syncope is a temporary fainting during or, more commonly, immediately after urination due to a severe drop in blood pressure. Micturition syncope is most common in older men and usually occurs at night after a deep sleep.

Why Are Fulani People Trimmer Than Other Tribes?

fulaHave you noticed that some tribes in Nigeria or even certain people or group of people from around the world NEVER get fat? They can never get obese or overweight! Examples, in Nigeria here are the Fulanis, some part of the north. And if you are observant you will also notice that you rarely find overweight or obese people in most of our CORE villages where the village culture of natural eating has not been contaminated by influx of refined foods from foreign land brought in for the parents by their rich township dwellers!
The problem with the notion of dieting is that it does not address the lifestyle changes that need to be made in order to permanently take the weight off. Losing weight is not something that can be bought or sold. It is not a commodity. Sometimes the problem is cultural. We become trapped in old habits that have us eating unhealthy foods for a lifetime.

invertedI entered into another particular area that is of real concern to many women but which countless aren’t strong enough to voice out or do not even know what to do. We were all scared of taking sweet things, especially real sugar in our drinks and some foods like custard, pap, oats etc. There was always this silent fear or even guilt when you are eating anything that is very sweet because in subconsciously you believe that you are deliberately causing some unknown problems to yourself.

Certainly intake of excessive sugar is not healthy just like excessive intake of any other foods, but its consumption is not the cause of diabetes.

Tips For Handling Belly Fat

bfThis is a serious issue for many people and I am giving out the tips in my desire to have my readers get something of value they can do to get back in shape.One of the most common questions I get is how to lose belly fat and how to lose weight and have a flat tummy.

Belly fat is actually the most dangerous type of fat –apart from the cosmetic importance of a normal shaped body, large waist lines are indicators of disease.Nobody wants that,

Abdominal obesity, also known as beer belly, beer gut, pot belly or clinically as central obesity, is when excessive abdominal fat around the stomach and abdomen has built up to the extent that it is likely to have a negative impact on health.
There is a strong correlation between central obesity and cardiovascular disease. Abdominal obesity is not confined only to the elderly and obese subjects.
Abdominal obesity has been linked to Alzheimer’s Disease as well as other metabolic and vascular diseases.

Below are some tips:

1.Replace high calorie foods with low calorie alternatives.

2.Monitor portion sizes.Means you should mind the quantity of food you consume at a sitting.Like other body fat,they are the product of excessive carbohydrate consumption.

3.Perform a low intensity cardio workout at least four to five days a week for body fat reduction. Lower intensity aerobic workouts burn calories from fat, which results in an overall decrease in body fat. Aim to exercise for a minimum of 45 minutes each cardio workout session.

4.Follow a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, healthy fats and vegetables. Whole grains contain a higher fiber content which creates a full sensation in your stomach for longer periods of time. Heart-healthy monounsaturated fats found in foods like cashew nuts(Please check out our post about cashew nuts),Avocadoes,and salmon have been reported to assist in reducing body fat. Eating fruits and vegetables prevent you from overeating higher calorie foods to help keep your calorie consumption in control.

5.Learn how to manage stress.I know that this may sound out of order for some but i will explain it more in my coming report about how to beat belly fat.
